The Challenge
Independent hotels in coastal and tourist markets rely heavily on third-party booking
platforms for reservations, handing over a commission on every booking — often 15-20%
per stay — in exchange for visibility. These properties typically have no direct-booking website of their own, no way to manage room pricing or availability in real time, and no central system for staff to track reservations without relying on the OTA dashboard or manual phone/WhatsApp logs. For a hotel owner, that means recurring commission costs, no ownership of guest data, and zero flexibility to adjust pricing or promotions on their own terms.
The Solution
We built a self-hosted, white-label hotel booking system in PHP and MySQL — a direct
booking website paired with a role-based admin panel, with no third-party booking APIs and no recurring commission on any reservation.
Guests browse rooms, view seasonal pricing and meal plans, and submit a booking request directly from the hotel's own branded website. Behind the scenes, staff manage everything from one dashboard: room and tariff management, a date-wise availability calendar, booking status tracking, and website content — all split across three access levels (Super Admin, Reception Staff, Content Manager) so front-desk teams only see what they need.
Every hotel that adopts the system gets its own copy: its own branding, its own database, and its own admin logins — deployable and demo-ready within a day, using the built-in sample data as a starting template.
The Results
The result is a booking product that lets any independent hotel go direct within days — without paying OTA commission on a single reservation. The admin panel gives staff a real-time view of bookings and availability in place of scattered phone and WhatsApp logs, and hotels keep full ownership of their guest data and pricing decisions.
